Raquex Grip Finishing Tape

Given the numerous 5 star reviews, I felt I needed to be more accurate in rating this product. I normally use Karakal for my squash raquet but they can be somewhat expensive. I therefore tried this product but the quality is poor and the raquet grip uncomfortable. I might as well use the orginal handle grip, to be honest. Cheap and cheerful but if you want to have a grip that is more robust, stick to the more expensive karakal!

Five nice colours of overgrip in the boxPriced at around £13 it not a band I have previously used so will give them a go.Easy enough to wrap around my raquet ball racket. To finish off you just cut the overgrip to an angle and use the supplied sticky tape to completes the job.It’s described as soft durable and tacky, at the moment it feels soft and shiny.I hope to put this to use this week and I will comeback with comments if the shiny surface doesn’t become absorbent and tacky

Hier wird der EIndruck erweckt, das Band sei selbstklebend, ist es aber nicht, am Bandende klebt ein winziges Fitzelchen Doppelklebeband. Die Griffseite ist "klebrig", das Band selber haftet NICHT. Damit verrutscht das Ganze dann und runzelt wenn der Griff darunter zu glatt ist. Will Wickelfehler nicht aussschließen, zumindest ist die Anbringung dann nicht "foolproof".

Grip feels good easy to apply. Instructions on box also emailed instructions to me easier to read. Haven’t played with it yet will let you know
