It comes down to pressure. Elite: Pace has increased pressure, so it’s the one to choose for slower environments, such as slower court surfaces or colder conditions, where a standard ball can feel flat. It also suits players who want a quicker, more competitive game. Elite is our standard pressure ball, ideal for normal play and warmer conditions. Both use the same premium construction and ResistaFelt cover.
Yes. Our Elite yellow ball holds full approval from the International Padel Federation (FIP), which makes Raquex one of only two UK brands on the FIP approved list. Elite: Pace, Elite Pink and Elite White carry FIP Specification status, which means they’re made to the same approved grade with minor variations in pressure or colour. All our balls are suitable for training, club play, leagues and tournaments.
It depends on how often you play, but our ResistaFelt cover resists fluffing and repels dirt and moisture, so the balls keep their feel and bounce for longer. Once a tube is opened the balls gradually lose pressure, so if the ball feels flat or slow off the racquet, it’s time for a fresh tube.
They use the same Elite construction and ResistaFelt cover as our yellow balls, just in a different colour. Some players prefer them for visibility against certain courts or lighting, and some just like to stand out. Both carry FIP Specification status.
